Alliance CrossData/400

Alliance CrossData/400 converts your AS/400 data to formats that are usable by PC applications, electronic mail, and Web sites, and can convert data in Microsoft CSV or tab-delimited format to AS/400 databases. You can convert any externally described AS/400 file or System/36 file to Microsoft Excel CSV (Comma Separated Values), ASCII fixed length text, or tab delimited format. Your data will be in the correct format for Microsoft Excel and most PC and database applications. In addition to formatting the data Alliance can convert the data from EBCDIC to ASCII. You can use IBM translation tables or your own tables for special requirements. After converting the data you can instruct Alliance to copy the data to a web site on your AS/400. You can also add your own actions to Alliance for special processing needs. When you convert a CSV or tab-delimited file to an AS/400 database file, Alliance will convert numeric data to DB2/400 formats such as zoned, packed, binary, and floating point. Date and time fields can be converted to equivalent DB2/400 fields. Alliance CrossData/400 includes a library scan option for automatic distribution of data, full support for application logging, conversion history, remote support, and a programmer's toolkit.
