Alliance FTP Manager can help you integrate data uploaded to your web site by your web-based eCommerce applications. FTP Manager can periodically connect to your web server, download files to the AS/400, convert data to AS/400 database format, and call you user applications to process the data. All of this can be done in un-attended mode for maximum automation.

You can also use FTP Manager to update your web site with data for your customers. You can use the data conversion utilities in CrossData/400 to convert AS/400 data to Excel CSV format and automatically transfer the CSV file to your web site. For large files FTP Manager includes file compression using the open systems Gzip format. Compressed files can be downloaded and processed by Winzip and other Windows-based zip utilities.

By connecting directly to your trading partner you can achieve faster transfer times, quicker document turn-around and lower cost. Alliance FTP Manager integrates well with the major AS/400 translation products from Extol, Harbinger, and Sterling.
