SSL FTP

Alliance All-Ways Secure contains a full FTP client application with SSL encryption support. Supporting both the current RFC2228 and the older RFC2246 standards for encrypting FTP sessions, you can use Alliance SSL FTP support to communicate with many standard FTP servers including IBM Global Network (now a part of GXS), GXS, US Bank, JP Morgan,  and many other financial institutions. Alliance SSL support provides strong encryption based on the Internet standard for encryption.  Alliance uses the IBM System i Digital Certificate Manager and GSKit APIs for SSL support. This guarantees compatibility with native System i security and operations. You can use Alliance FTP commands in your CL programs, or bind the Alliance FTP client service program to your ILE applications.
