PGP Encryption for System z

PGP Command Line 9 for z/OS and Linux on z

PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) is the de facto standard for strong encryption and data security. The public/private key encryption technology that is a part of PGP is recognized world wide as the strongest data security software available.

The PGP Command Line 9 for System z product provides a full implementation of PGP encryption, decryption, signing, and key management functions for the System z platform. A native System z application, there is no need for a separate PC or UNIX server for encryption and key management services.

PGP Command Line 9 fully supports Additional Decryption Keys (ADK). ADK is a critical component to support data recovery and regulatory compliance rules such as those in the PCI Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) and in the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX). PGP implementations that support ADK provide a means of recovering data you send to your trading partners, and provide an auditable proof of the data content. PGP implementations that are based on Open PGP do not support ADK, and cannot provide this assurance.

You can request a 30-day evaluation of Command Line 9 for your System z z/OS or Linux environment, or get a complete information packet:
